The List movie came on ABC Family channel awhile ago and i never got the chance to see it but i was at Blockbuster Video one day browsing and i saw The List was for sale in the store. Blockbuster didn't have the movie available to rent so i had to buy it. The List also is starring Flex Alexander of One On One tv show, Sydney Tamia Poitier who is Sidney Poitier's daughter, Tatayna Ali of Fresh Prince Of Bel Air tv show. Sydney is very attractive. I thought the movie was pretty good. Malcolm was Sydney's ex boyfriend in the movie. He had a stuttering problem and there was one scene that showed his naked ass LOL. What do ya'll think of Wayne Brady? Do ya'll think he's corny? I think he's ok. He's not that funny. I saw him play a serious character in the basketball movie Crossover with Anthony Mackie. He usually is acting silly so Crossover was a different role for him.

I saw this film- Wayne Brady was Ok- but honestly the Caucasian supporting players and Erica Gimpel were much better actors than the leads. Wayne Brady was basically playing himself, whether that's good or bad. Flex Alexander plays the same role in every movie- he's a type more than an authentic actor and the same was basically true of all the black actors here. And Malcolm Jamal's part here is yet more evidence that the Cosby Show directors must have done a really good job working with the young actors because there is just something so off about his performances in every thing else I have seen him act in- and he needed to keep his pants on
Something is just off about many/most of the African American potrayals in tv and movies. To me the older actors brought more depth and believability to the screen. One problem is the writing and direction: many of the people wrote and directed these things years ago used real life as a reference point- like these people had something to say and used film as a medium to express it- a lot of the more recent films and shows seem made just to make back a profit by people who watched tv and movies rather than lived life. Put Sindey Poitier's hot looking daughter in a flick with several bankable stars and we'll make some $$$.
