Happy Weekend Everyone! What's going on? We're in a heatwave here, which means I STAY HOME IN THE AC, lol. The Red Sox play a double-header today, so the Couch Potato aka My Husband is happy (until they lose, lol).

I just started a sauce with meatballs and sausage, and I'll be cooking manicotti later. My friend and her husband are coming by later for a visit. Not sure about the rest of the weekend.

Well, today after work I'm going to Oakdale with a friend of mine and we're seeing the play 'Grease'. It should be a lot of fun :D

Saturday I'm pretty much working all day :(

Sunday I'm supposed to be going to the Greek Festival in Port Jefferson, then having some belated birthday cake with the relatives :D

It's been such a LONG and tiring work week - my main activity this weekend is going to be SLEEP!!

Today (Friday), I am going to get together with a group of people from an online events group and watch To Kill A Mockingbird downtown. It's free, and we can bring picnic items. Gosh, I haven't seen that movie since I was in high school!!! I enjoy that Greggory Peck movie.

Saturday, I am going to hang out with my friend, Theresa, I haven't really hung out with since mid-May (it's been such a long, busy summer...), and we're going to get haircuts and then get our hair dyed. She's going to help me re-dye my hair (it looks gross now as my roots are badly showing!), so I will buy some dinner for us tomorrow. If I also have time, then I will get together with the above events group of people and shop at the Talin Supermarket which is an international food store. Its main focus is Asian/Middle Eastern foods, but it also has aisles of countries/locations. I've been there, and I love it!! I haven't been there in months. That's a big "maybe," though. It depends when I am gonna meet up with my friend.

Sunday, I'm not sure yet! Too early to tell! Maybe hang out with my mom and sister.

Well, it's gonna be hot tomorrow so i'll probably spend most of the day by the pool. I'll hopefully have it all to myself. Hopefully, my exercise bike will come in this weekend so i'll use that. The rest of the week will just be relaxing.

Thanks Tara, I hope you have fun in San Diego and at The Cat Club if you go. I just checked the weather report and it's not supposed to storm until later Saturday night. So, it'll be a beautiful day.

I am going to see a couple of tribute bands; one of the Crue (a band, I love) and the other does U2 covers; sounds like a lot of fun:)..oh, and a band, called, The Long Duck Dongs..since, I am a huge fan of the movie, Sixteen Candles, I am definitely looking to see that band!!!:)

I have to shop for my homecomming dress before its too late.

Not much going on this weekend. I think i'll lay low tonight so I can get up early and go for a bike ride. I have a few engraving projects to work on tomorrow which should take up most of the day, plus I really have to clean up the place and do laundry.

Tomorrow night? Maybe a bar or two. We'll see.

It's been a fast and busy week for me. About 1/2 more weeks till school starts so I'm going to watch one movie instead of reading on of the book :cool: I really don't have time. Today I talked to my school counselor about my classes next year and mine are gonna be Honors English, AP Environmental Science, AP US history, Trignometry, Computers and Spanish III. :eek: :eek: I wanted to switch Spanish but my counselor says to give it a week or 2 before I make my decision.

Yeah, i said I was going to lay low tonight, but that didn't happen.

A ladyfriend texted me at around 10 requesting my presence at Conker Hill, my new hangout other that the Gaf.

Honestly, how could I refuse?

Long story short, here I am at near dawn trying to figure out my next move with this gal, which is way too much to go into now.

The Yankee game was quite exciting, despite the 4 hour rain delay and they managed to lose in extra innings!

Okay, tomorrow night I stay home!

It's going to be close to 100 degrees today, so it's the usual. Stay home in the AC and order take-out.

My parents have returned from Florida, so my wife and I are taking the kids to visit them. They have been in Florida since early July because of my grandfather's poor health and ultimately his passing.

Hididdly ho Sitcomerinos!

TJL here, bright eyed and bushytailed and ready for another glorious day! I'm well rested and not hungover, there is a Star Wars Marathon on one of the Cinemax channels, so all is well in my world.

I statyed home last night and got up early this morning to do my laundry. Now that that's out of the way, I can work on a few of my projects.

I've been working on a new product line - custom zippo lighters.

Last month when my friend Kieron's bar Conker Hill opened, I though I would give him a gift by doing a custom paint and engraving job on a zippo lighter.


The lighter got a good response from my friends, so Kieron asked me to make five more for him.

I have to go to Staples this morning and copy a bunch of templates I made last night so i can get to work on these. I also have to do a lighter with the Gaf log for another friend. I'll have to order more lighters today too.

Thank god I found a store online where I can get these lighters for about ten bucks.

I'm still not sure what to do today. I think I will call my mom and find out what she's doing today. I can't afford to spend money, so maybe she just wants to do something small for today. It's all good.
