I'm happy that "Infinity Entertainment Group" is releasing the 2nd season of "The Real McCoys" so soon after Season One came out in July. That's great news for Real McCoys fans.
On the critical side, it's too bad that they could not release the unedited episodes instead of the syndicated versions shown by TNN a few years back, released by "SFM Entertainment".
Let's hope Infinity can spend a little more time with the upcoming season box sets and try to return the missing minutes. I believe the missing footage is mostly the "tags" or closing minutes of the episodes.
Also, the closing theme songs on the Season 1 DVD set are the instrumental versions, with 3 different lengths of theme music, not counting the unique pilot episode closing theme. Only one is what I call full length, with the other two edited to shorter versions. If these were restored to the original, the ending theme songs would all be the vocal theme song, like the opening is, with additional lyrics and dozens of variations in the theme music!
I'm sure Infinity is hoping nobody remembers how the original shows looked, hoping that all the old geezers like me are long gone!! ;)

We must both be old then, I remember the closing themes as well. I do wish they would have unedited shows too. I taped most of them from TNN years ago, but missed a few, so I will buy the season sets to get them all.
