celebrated like Bob Newhart on the 10th of September and he said because
the show is not a Classic like Bob Newhart and that it has never done well in syndication.

Sounds like Doubletalk to me

He makes things up a lot. Don't listen to him. They probably couldn't get the rights.

Yeah I told him that is a strong statement to make without some backup data showing Maude didn't do well-lol I said are you talking about TV land or All the networks that ared the show? I will say what he says

Yeah, if you are talking about that toolbag on the tvland message boards, i have to agree. I stopped going there years ago because of his nonsense.

I think it would be a lot easier if he just says he is a bob newhart fan instead of all that other nonsense

oh, so let me see if i have this right, he says maude isn't a classic. Hmmm, ok, well I don't know if you can even consider TVLand a credible judge of what is classic and what is not given what they have been showing over the past few years.

They were both classics...he is right about Maude not doing well in syndication though, although I'D watch it

He said that Maude isn't as big a Classic as Bob Newhart.

Agreed. I wish TVLand would air both shows instead of the lot they currently have on.

TheLink ... ugh. He drives me nuts. His posts make no sense half of the time. He hedges around things, he rarely gives a clear answer, he sidesteps, he spouts inane facts. He also sounds annoyed half of the time when posting.

Why even bother asking TVLand anything is my question? Haven't we learned already that it is abt what THEY want and not what the viewers want. What a waste of time dealing with them.
