Well granted Lost Loves aren't exactly the most popular type of UM segments on the board. There are a few that I like though. Even though its heartbreaking my favorite would have to be Victor Simon. I have a hard time keeping a dry eye through that one and I really hope he was able to find some family members.

So those of you who enjoy Lost Love cases, what are you favorites?

Yes, Victor Simon was such a heartbreaking story, was there ever an update to that segment?

I've wondered the same thing. I don't think Lifetime ever updated it.

Well I recently saw Fritz and the Soldiers on the best of set and it was quite moving. I also recall the story of how a woman lost both her mom and sisters and survived a crash where a train hit their car. She was able to reunite with her aunt.

Lost Loves could have been released as one DVD along with the ultimate set. Don't think there is enough demand for a full boxed though. Afterall, this show can't even get enough ratings to replace the legendary LRW show "Gay, Straight, or Taken", which I think is aired like 4 times in one day. Maybe it's just me, but I think that it is a very tacky show. They could atleast one hour a day to Unsolved Mysteries. ;)

LOL! You're so right!

My favorites, well, I'm a sap, so I really enjoy most of them. Kids taken by the state and separated or given up for adoption, trying to find their siblings. That kinda thing. Of course, I want them ALL updated and with happy endings!:D

a lost loves set would probably not be a huge hit with most UM fans.

but.....

that's not to say it couldn't be successful at all. it just has to be marketed properly. I have taken several marketing classe, and if they gave me the responsibility of marketing this product, I would shy away from mentioning that it's UM a whole lot and just run it as a 'chicken soup for the soul' thing, which were quite popular, at least back in the day. As with all UM genres, you are going to have people that buy the set that typically don't watch UM. for example, more religious people might be vey drawn to the miracles set and be totally disinterested in the others, and so on.
