in one episode, mr mooney has to leave lucy in charge of the bank and we get to see the actual main area of the bank (not the vault or offices) with the wooden frontages and where the members of the public are served. I believe the plot revolved around lucy trying to run the bank and as usual chaos ensues! I think the episode may have been called "Lucy and the Bank Manager" or something like that, not sure

if anybody knows the title of this episode or even confirm this episode exists or is available to buy/view/d***load would be appreciated

many thanks

hmmmmmm.......sorry that plot sounds too vague for me to identify it right off the bat?

Maybe the one with Phil Silvers as the efficiency expert?

The original "main area of the bank" was shown--complete with a shot that panned across the bank interior until Lucy walked into Mr. Mooney's office with the curtains open--in the Marineland episode, the 1965 opener which was the first to be broadcast in color.

The episode you're referring to likely shows a completely different looking bank, but in the Marineland episode, which was filmed movie-like without an audience, it looks like a real bank.
