I know that the Alistar Quince sequences were cut for syndication. When I watch the season 1 DVD (and even when I see season 2 on TV), I can tell where the syndicator made the cuts. I'm curious to know if anyone remembers the scenes that were cut. I understand that it's difficult to remember since the unedited episodes have not seen the light of day since 1985. I remember someone saying that in part 1 of "The Wedding" that the conversation between Mama and Aunt Fran in the kitchen was cut short. But that's all I know.

Thanks for the help!

i was just thinking about this. i have some episodes on tape (somewhere) that a from when nbc showed reruns in the summer of 1985 and i beleive at that point they had already cut the allister quince bits, but it did show the original house during the theme. i bet others on thise site have unedited copies from there first network runs. we should go to work and pull out all the missing kbits and post them on youtube so we can watch them.
does anyone have copies taped off nbc from the 1983 to 1984 network run?
would anyone be able to do this.

another idea would be splicing "new footage" to episodes to explain thinks like what happened to the missing bedroom or vint and naomi could mention buzz and sonia and what they are up to. maybe this could be done by recoding new dialog and placing it over an existing scene of v and n talking. the mouths wouldn't math what the were saying but it would be fun.

perhaps i am getting to obsessed.....
