Just went through my parents Records and LP's in our basement. I categorized them as best as I could. Something I noticed about some of them was the title of the record is a pain to find. For some reason a lot of them had it listed in a weird part and not the front of the album. Also the spanish ones I have no clue what they are. My dad lived in Brazil in the late 70's/Early 80's so he picked up a bunch there. The spelling on those could be wrong as I don't read spanish or portugesse.

Anyway I uploaded the list of records we have, it comes to a total of 165. Just wondering if anyone knows if any of them are valuable or anything like that.

Based on my selling experience on eBay, The Lp's on that list that are probably worth the most are those by The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Neil Young. If any of these are imports then they're probably worth a little more.

It's also hard to determine a price without knowing the condition. Beatles Lp's in near mint-mint condition will command a premium and Beatle collectors are very stringent when it comes to buying original Lp's.

Even the slightest flaw such as a dinged corner can be detrimental. Other factors include: Spilt covers, writing on cover or label, stickers, etc... Very light scratches that don't effect play are normally ok but obvious ones and scuffs won't generate much interest.

Unfortunately, Lp's from the 80's are very hard to move unless it's something rare or sealed. I can usually pick them up for about a buck or so at yard sales or at the Goodwill.

I've sold alot of records on eBay but I don't consider myself an expert in the field. If you're planning on selling anything, The general rule of thumb is that it's worth what someone is willing to pay and price guides can be thrown out the window.

If the only thing you're interested in doing is finding out the values then I suggest you visit your local bookstore and buy a pricing guide then go from there. This will give you some indication as to the value should you ever want to sell anything.
