Mine is Tootsie! I especially like the dynamics between Dustin Hoffman's character and Jessica Lange's - both when he's in drag and when he's just himself. Also, I just LOVE the theme, "It Might Be You", sung by Stephen Bishop. It was nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar but lost to "Up Where We Belong" from An Officer & A Gentleman. This movie was funny, sweet and sensitive...just a pleasant viewing experience. :D

Tootsie is my all-time favorite movie, period. I was so pissed when Dustin lost out on an Oscar to Ben Kingsley(still have never seen Gandhi). One of my favorite parts is when Dorothy is auditioning and she tells off Ron. She calls him a 'macho s**thead'. I still use that term when referring to certain men!! I also love when Dorothy is doing a scene with Nurse Charles and Nurse Charles is crying that Dr. Van Horn comes on to all the nurses and Dorothy says that she's going to buy cattle prods for all the nurses so they can zap Dr. Van Horn in the 'badoobies'. Then Nurse Charles loses it. Makes you wonder if she laughed on purpose or if it was really part of the scene.

Teri Garr & Bill Murray are also great, especially Teri.

Really there are so many great parts. I could be here forever writing about this movie.

^ At least Jessica Lange won - both the Oscar and Golden Globe! Was Dabney Coleman's character the father of Julie's baby? I think it was implied, but I was never sure. Btw, I listened to "It Might Be You" in the car today. :D What are the special features on the DVD?
