(Tootie quickly walks into the kitchen holding a large brown supermarket bag.)

MG- what's the rush tootie?

T- (surprised) rush? what rush? i'm not in a rush!

MG- (suspiciously) well...alright. Tootie, what's in that bag?

T- what bag?

MG- (gives her a "look")

T- ooohhhh, that bag! haha! oh, nothing.

MG- tootie...

T- well, if you must know...i just got Natalie a few of her favorite cookies. (smiles)

MG- (sees that the bag starts..to sort of move) tootie....why may I ask is the bag...moving?

T- (looks down to see the bag shaking) oh! well it's just sooooo heavy that my hand is shaking! Which is why i really better go give these cookies to Nat right away!

MG- well, alright. (very confused)

(upstairs)

N- hey tootie! i heard you talkin to mrs.garett. i also heard something about...cookies. (smiles)

T- Natalie..

N- oh, no need to explain. i know that i'm just such a great friend so, you couldn't resist.

T- Natalie...

N- (puts arm around tootie) ya know, i always knew you were a great friend tootie!

T- (raises her voice)Natalie!

N- what?!

T- there are no cookies. i used that as an excuse to get by mrs.garett.

N- (takes arm off and looks heartbroken) no cookies?

T- sorry nat, i owe ya okay?

N- well, okay...but if you don't have those absolutley delicious chewy chocolaty chippy

T- natalie!

N- what's in the bag?!

T- don't freak out okay?

N- okay, okay.

T-(reaches into the brown bag and takes out a small brown puppy and smiles)

N- (shocked) Tootie...that's...a...a...dog!

T- and they wonder why you finished top in your class last year.

(Blair walks in)

T- hi blair!

B- oh, hi tootie. (notices a dog on nat's bed) would you please feel my head? i think i may be sick.

N- what's wrong? tell me your symptoms, i mean my dad is a doctor you know.

B- well, i know this may sound kind of strange but i think i see a puppy on your bed.

J- (walks in) i'm not even gonna ask why there's a dog on your bed Nat.

B- you see it too!

T- we all see it blair.

B- o my! what does this mean? are we all...losing our minds?

T- (laughs) no blair, i found this little puppy on the way home and i just couldn't resist. i mean look how cute she is!

B- tootie, you know there are no dogs allowed! we could all be expelled if caught with that?

N- yeah tootie, she's right.

T- well, we can't just give her up! i mean look at this face (shows everybody the puppy's cute little face)

J- look, she might be cute, but i know i'm not getting expelled because of some dog!

N- (sighs) what are we gonna do?

B- I've just had one of my brilliant ideas.

(all look at Blair)

N- soo...what is it?

B- well, i happened to know someone who would like a little puppy. she's very nice. i'm sure they would make a perfect match.

T- oh great! what's her name?

B- my cousin geri.

N- hey, that's perfect!

B- only one problem.

J- and what would that be?

B- well...

J- oh, just spit it out blair.

B- she's in california with my aunt at the moment.

J- another one of Blair's brilliant ideas fell through.

B- hey wait a minute there mr.goodwrench! she'll be back on friday!

N- great!

T- perfect! i knew you'd think of something blair! (smiles)

J- i think you all might be forgetting something.

(all look at jo)

J- it's only sunday. how do you expect us to keep this dog

T- (interupts her) puppy.

J- this puppy until friday without Mrs.G noticing it.

N- oh blair?

B- (looks at nat)

N- we're in need of another brilliant idea!

T- look, we'll think of something. we'll just have to hide katie.

J- katie? you decided to name her katie?

B- i think it's a cute name. even cuter than...charles...prince charles that is. (gets dazed)

N- i think it's a great name!

J- awwwww...come on...what about...harley...or (stops when she sees Blair, Nat, and Tootie all staring at her)Katie's fine.

N- right now we have a name...but not a clue.

T- listen, every night at dinner, we'll have to sneak some food up to Katie. We all need to take turns walking her...

B- walking her! how do you expect we pull that off?

N- hey i know!

more in a sec!

N- we can volenteer to take out the garbage every night.

B- what will that do besides put me in danger of getting a stain?

N- well, we can sneak katie out with us and walk her while we're taking out the garbage.

T- that might just be crazy enough to work! good thinking nat!

J- i still think this is a bad idea.

B- over ruled.

J- aye, your not a lawyer yet blair.

T-(takes out an empty carboard box and puts a few blankets in it) She can sleep in here. Whenever we're not here we'll just close the box.

B- we don't want to kill her tootie!

T- of-course not! here. (pokes holes in the box) totally safe!

N- you think we can really pull this one off?

(all smile except for jo)

B- oh jo???

J- (smiles) fine, but if we get caught don't blame me!

great cant wait to find out if they get caught or not!! and i hope Geri plays a role in it cuz she was one of my faveorite non-regual regulars on the show!~

k...i'm gonna write a little more of this and then put it on hold so i can finish what would i do w/out you kk? k.

(The Next Morning)

MG- (walks in) Time to get up girls! Breakfast time!

(all slowly get out of bed when...)

K- Bark bark!

MG- what was that.

J- huh? what? oh..that was blair.

B- (gives jo the evil eye) yeah...you see i'm doing my science projects on dogs so...you know i'm just barking away! (does a little bark)

MG- (rolls eyes) alright blair. everyone been down in 45 minutes alright?

T- (try to hold in laughter) sure Mrs. Garett!

MG-(leaves)

(everyone starts cracking up)

N- that was great blair! a real classic!

T- i'm just barkin away!

B- well what did you expect me to say?

J- what you said...was fine...just i never thought i'd see blair warner pretending to be a dog!

B- (rolls eyes) well don't get used to it!

i'll write a little more in a sec

(later that day after dinner)

MG- natalie...may i speak with all of you please?

(all walk over)

T- sure mrs.garett what's wrong? (she says nervously)

MG- well, i wanted to only speak with natalie but that's alright.while you girls were in class...i went up to your rooms and i happened to find...this. (holds up Natalie's over-due library book)

N- oh, mrs.garett! we didn't want you to...what? oooohhhh...right my over-due library book. (takes it from mrs.g.) thanks! you are a life saver!

MG- well...anyway...any volenteers to take out the garbage? didn't think so..

T- (interupts her) i will!

N- no i will!

J- i can handle it mrs.g!

B- i suppose...i could.

MG- (kind of confused) wow! well...alright...tootie go ahead..i mean you did volenteer first! (still looks confused) goodbye girls...(starts to walk upstairs but then turns around when she hears the girls start to talk again)

N- okay tootie, you know the plan. go up there get katie ..put her in the shopping back and take her out.

J- remember be secret about it.

T- how do i be secret?

J- by not being your usual self.

T- oh thanks jo!

B- oh and tootie one more thing!

T- (turns around) yeah blair?

B- try not to staing that shirt...remember...it's mine!

T- don't worry blair. (giggles to herself.)

more maybe...much later or tomorrow because i really have to finish up what would i do w/out you! sry!

T-(starts to walk up-stairs when mrs.g stops her)oh, hi mrs.garett.

MG- who is katie?

T- katie? i don't know any katie's!

MG- tootie...

T- oh alright. she...well...she's a little puppy i found a couple of days ago.

MG- tootie, you know that dogs are not allowed on school campus!

T- i know that! we all know that. we're just keeping katie here until Blair's cousin Geri comes back from California! We're giving Katie to her.

MG- tootie, i can't let you keep her here! i'm sorry!

T- oh please Mrs.Garett! (makes sad puppy face) it will only be until friday! i promise!

MG- well, alright. I mean...i do kind of like dogs. especially puppies. (smiles)

T- oh thankyou mrs.garett! (hugs her) sorry we all lied to you.

MG- although it was wrong for you all to lie...it was kind of funny to see Blair barking!

(both laugh)
