Just in case you didn't see my other thread, here is a picture of door number 1 on the new set of the price is right. A friend of mine (no connection to the show) found this while surfing the net this afternoon. As soon as I get the ok to post my pictures of the set I will.


Picture the same design with a blue color & that will be door number 2 & door number 3 is green. At least you all now have a small taste until i can post the others!! if anyone has any questions let me know

There is no doubt that the set is very loud... you can really see it from the pics that I have, one of the shots I have is from the back of the studio looking towards the stage & it is a bit tough on the eyes, but I think it still has the retro look to it

Yes it does Brian...as long as the set looks like the price is right I am fine with it... A little loud especially when you see all 3 doors together along with the new lighting & design of the turntable, but all & all I am not that worried about it.

That door reminds me of the summer of 1976-lol

that is a awsome set

It looks good, I guess. It really does resemble the original door design of the early-to-mid 1970s. I'm not so sure about each door being a different color, but eh, that's okay. I like that they went back to the vintage logo.

I can't wait to see the rest of the set. From what I'm reading from people who were actually at Drew's first tapings, the set sounds awesome!

As of now there is no official date for the premiere of the 36th season, in fact the show that will be the premiere is not going to be taped for a few weeks. If all goes well October 15th will be the first show of the new season!!!!!

I am going to be taping The New Price is Right and watch it at 11:35 pm
