can some please let me know what this show was about I do not remember 1st and 10 was it a network show or First one Syndicated Show.

It was a football show originally aired by HBO from about 1985-1991. If the NFL thought Playmakers was bad I'm wondering why the didn't try to get rid of 1st and 10 since HBO was also running 'Inside the NFL'.
