I have been wondering what ever happen to Linda The Death Lady on Sesame Street.

I know that she left the show in 2003. Does anyone know how the character "Linda" was written out?

I haven't a clue but here is some info on her:

Bove appeared in an episode of Happy Days as Allison, a girlfriend of The Fonz. In this role she also portrayed a deaf woman. She also performed on the soap opera Search for Tomorrow and the feature film Children of a Lesser God.

I think that's deaf-meaning she can't hear, and my guess is if she uses sign language all the time, she must be deaf. Death is associated with being deceased, so I don't think you would want to get loss of hearing mixed up with dying.
