Don't know what to make of this. Sherwood Schwartz has talked about making a GI movie for around 20 years now. Could this be it? What worries me is seeing actors listed. I don't think they would be listed if it was just an idea.

What I did like seeing was seeing Sherwood, Llyold and Elroy Schwartz being involved. Than again they produced the Real Gilligan's Island and we know that wasn't any good.

Sandler would give himself a chance if he would took unknown actors to do his project.Now,that I check the list,I know this movie will suck :p

I love Gilligan's Island. I watched it every afternoon for years and years and years and consider it one of my cherished childhood memories. I bought each season on DVD the day they came out and I'm still thrilled to know that I have the whole series at my fingertips. Having said that, allow me to say...


...that this movie sounds like it's going to suck so bad we'll wish we had the Globetrotters back! Adam Sandler makes me laugh, but his brand of goofiness is not Gilligan. :(

Hey, don't give them any ideas! You know, the actors don't need to be famous, they just need to resemble the characters and be who they're supposed to be. *If* they do make a GI movie, I hope they do it while Sherwood is still alive. (He is 90, you know). If there's any way to suggest Dhani to him, I'd do it. :D

I know it's been awhile since I've been here or the GeorgeHarrison.com message board (the other one I used to post on. I have a thing for GI & the Beatles, it goes way back.). Too much fun on YouTube, I guess! :lol:

I think they should get a bunch of no name actors/actresses that love(d) the show and the characters that would portray the castaways as they originally were portrayed.
