I was doing some searching and only found a couple of old threads about this tragic case and I was hoping some of you maybe know if there was an update to this case?

For those of you who don't remember or haven't seen this segment, it's about a college student from Alaska who was driving thru Canada to Washington State. He picked up a strange hitchhiker at a diner and was later found murdered. This hitchhiker later used Philip's identity on one occasion.

I haven't found anything on the net so I have no idea if this was ever solved, but I think Lisa Penz would probably agree with me since he was a rather large guy you'd think that people would take notice of him. A really chilling case :S

One of my favorite cases of all time. The premise is almost like it's out of a horror movie or something. Sadly, I don't think there were ever any updates on this one.
