B (singing): It's a beautiful day..( disapointed) oh, it's you. Hi Jo
J: Don't you know to knock?
B: Yeah
J: So then why don't ya?
B: Well, it happens to be my bathroom too!
J: Hey, Blair? Did you finish the flyers for the bake sale that Mrs. Garrett asked you to do?
B: Don't tell, but no..
J: That was so important though!
B: Well, so is Cliff, and well...
J: That was Mrs. G's biggest event! The Eastland Bake Sale!
( Mrs G pops her head in)
MG: Di I hear anything about the bakesale? Oh, Blair, did you finish the flyers I gave you to do?
( Blair hesitated. A big pause)
B ( slowly): Yes Mrs. G, I finished them...
MG: Thank you Blair! I knew I could depend on you!
( MG leaves)
J: Why'd ya tell her you finished them?
B: Because she gave me them a month ago! A Warner never forgets!
J: Well, you're either not a Warner, or a Warner forgets!
B: Well, I'm gonna get breakfast ready. I also have to do Tootie's dress. She needs it tonight!
( Blair runs out)
( In the kitchen)
N: Hey Blair, Tootie wants to know if you finished making her dress?
B: Don't tell, but no......
N: She needs it tonight!
B: I had more important things to do!!
( Tootie comes in)
T: Hey, Blair? Do you have my dress. I need it to make my day happy.
N: What are you doing that makes you so upset?
T: Braces changed....
B: Yeah Tootie, but can I give it to you later?
T: Yeah, but I need it by 7. See you guys!
( Tootie exits)
N: You told me you didn't finish it!
B: I didn't!
N: Then why did you tell Tootie you did?
B: A little fib. Like I told Jo-
( Jo comes)
J: Jo what?
B: I was telling Natalie how I told you a Warner never forgets.
J: You mean you lied again?
N: She lied to you too?
J: No, to Mrs. Garrett. She said she was done making the flyers.
N: She told Tootie she was done with the dress.
B: Ok! I didn't forget..exactly. I just had more things to do!
J: I bet you can't go a whole day without making one little fib!
N: I never knew I would say this...but I agree with Jo!
B: Do you want to make a bet?
J: Yeah...but make it juicy! The loser has to do kitchen duty for 1 month!
N: You mean 2, since Blair isn't gonna win. Make it one month for you, and one month for me!
J: Blair? Is it a bet?
B: let's shake!
( All girls are in the room)
T: Blair? Can I have my dress?
B( whispering): Jo, when does the bet start?
J: Tommorow.
B: Ok
B( To Tootie): Sure!
( B brings out a dress)
J( whispering): I thought you didn't do it?
B: The cleaners!
T: Thanks Blair! This is great!
B: Anytime!
T: Well, I gotta go. I'll see ya when I get back!
( T walks out)
B: That was close!
J: You know Blair< I'll let you pass the bet and all...
B: No, a Warner keeps her promises!
N: Like you poromised Mrs. Garrett and Tootie?
B: Well, Tootie's dress did get done, didn't it?
J: Yeah, but what about the flyers?
B: Go to the copy place! They did them! See, all is complete!
MG: Blair? The flyers?
B: Here they are, Mrs. Garrett!
MG: Thanks, Blair!
B: Don't worry, Mrs. Garrett!
( MG leaves)
J: Well, tommorow's a long day! Even a longer day for you Blair!
( They all go to sleep)

J: Look! The only way we can be sure is if we see proof. Since we didn't, Blair's off the hook!
N: Fine.
( MG comes in)
MG: Good morning girls.
J: Hey, Mrs. G, what we making for breakfast?
MG: My homemade fudge pancakes!
B: YUCK!
MG: I thought you loved my fudge pancakes!
( Blair pauses)
N( whispers): Remember.....the bet.
B: No, Mrs. Garrett, I don't.
