View Full Version : I Need Your Prayers Please
Mr. Television 08-14-2007, 05:15 PM Hey Everybody...
I need your prayers. My Dad has been in the hospital for the last 2 days. It's the same thing he had a few years ago...congestive heart failure. His legs were swollen up so he could barely walk and his blood pressure was off the charts. They got his blood pressure down but they're keeping him so they can try some breathing exercises with him. He's awfully tired. Sometimes nobody knows what he's talking about. He doesn't make any sense. I'm really worried about him and I'd appreciate any prayers you can give him.
Thanks. :)
Lex Luthor 08-14-2007, 05:20 PM My Prayers go out to you and your family Sonny.
I hope that everything turns out for the best. Try to stay positive because your dad can feed off that.
Take Care

dawsongirl 08-15-2007, 02:03 AM CHF is a sad thing to watch. I'm sorry that your family is going through this; I don't like seeing kids have to watch their parents suffer, no matter how old they are. Stay positive. :)

Mr. Television 08-15-2007, 01:56 PM Thanks everybody. :) Their's no change yet. I don't think he's coming home today. Everytime he walks without his oxygen mask he gets out of breath. He might have to have that with him when he is released. I'll keep you all informed.

I had visited him this morning and he didn't look all that great but I guess he got better as the afternoon went on. They released him without his oxygen mask a little while ago. Thanks everybody for your prayers and all your thoughts. I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. You guys are the best. :)

I'm just so happy to hear this. Honestly, it made my WEEK. I know this was weighing on you very heavily, Sonny. Now your job is to keep your Dad in line, and to remind him that he's not 35 years old anymore. ;)

That bit of great news is TERRIFIC!!! I am so glad. Anyone who has a parent who is ill, really touches me in my heart. I no longer have my parents, but I know how precious they are to us and no matter how old we may be, we will always be their "kids". Sonny, you are a great son and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.
