Hello everyone, i have seen the golden palace on dvd for sale at http://www.tvaddicts.tv/movie/comedy/the_golden_palace.html has anyone bought this form this store? im a little reluctant as it seems to have lots of old tv shows that somehow have got past the regular relase of all the other major online stores amazon etc any info??

I would refrain from buying that for two reasons. One is that you don't know if those DVDs contain the actual show. For all you know, it could be the edited versions that Lifetime aired (with or without commercials). Second, when the official DVD is released, it will cost nowhere near the price this site is charging. My advice is to wait for an official release (or watch the tapes if you have the episodes from when Lifetime aired them two years ago).

I agree. Wait for an Offical DVD release.

I will wait for the actual date for GP DVD to come to stores and when its on sale. I will be glad when the official DVD is in stores.

one of my friends bought Maude from the same company and the episodes are TV Land recordings. He let me borrow his set and the video quality is spotty at best, but it's the best we can do until Sony gets off it's butt and releases more.

I know that bootlegs are illegal but sometimes can you blame the fans who just wanna see their favorite show but the companies are treating it like crap because it doesn't sell Friends/Seinfeld numbers?
