Man, I have waited soooooo long for this! Of course, 1.5 million Canadians cant be wrong, but, now comes the BIG test! The USA.... So, i guess I should tell you a few things about CG, so youll be ready for it.....To start, CG is a one camera sitcom taped partly on location and without a laughtrack; most Canadian sitcoms such as CG and "Made in Canada" (AKA the Industry) are done this way. But, dont fret, once you get used to it, its refreshing not to have to wait til the audience quiets down, for the actors to speak their next line....feels much more real that way. Otherwise, CG is pretty much a standard format sitcom...no weird dream eps or spacemen.....so far!:crazy:

Well, dont despair, I looked it up, and Corner Gas is syndicated for broadcast all over the USA, but, at the moment only WGN has picked it up.....if its successful on WGN, hopefully, others will sign on, and youll be able to watch it.......in the meantime, the first three seasons are available on DVD and can be bought online. ( The 4th season DVDs should come out, just about the time of its US debut )

Ps...on the first post on this board , i called CG a one camera comedy, my mistake, while some scenes seem to be shot with one camera, theres usually at least 2 diff angles, so, I guess theres at least 2 cameras! :lol:

Hey! I'm over in Alberta, dreading the coming winter right now, but eager for S4 to come out on DVD September 18!

you guys get a much worse winter than we EVER do....of course, you are quite a bit north of me. I remember when i had a GF up there in AB, her winter would start long before ours and end long after.....Are you an Oilers fan, or a Flames fan? :D CG4 is supposed to be out earlier than CG3 which wasnt out til Oct last year, but 4 is supposed to come out late Sept!

Im a rabid hockey fan, and while the Buffalo Sabres are the closest team to me, and the Leafs, the closest Canadian team, I am French Canadian and root for the same team my Father and Grampa have for almost 100 years, Les Canadiens de Montreal! :D ( Celebrating their 100th Anniversary in 2009 )

Im more excited about CGs 5 coming soon to CTV , myself! ;)
