About half the time, I take a quick peek, and if nothing's happening, I won't log on. Sometimes, I have to log in, if I have a reported post or two in my e:mail.

I tend to forget to log in if I don't see anything I want to reply to.

I'm logged in all the time, but like Sonny and a few others mentioned, if there's nothing I feel like replying to, I simply lurk a bit and then leave.

I mostly lurk to see if there are interesting posts or if any activity is going on. If none of that is going on or I have nothing to say I don't log in.

There's no such thing as a high speed dialup. Then again, I've paid enough to Bell for them to actually stick DSL on this street, but meh. Everyone knows I hate Bell anyway. Over $40 per month for dialup?? MEH.

I'm automatically logged on and i have dial up too but it doesnt take extremely long to load, but then when I go back to school and start gettin on here at school with their high speed this will seem so slow. But I lurk a bit then post.

I know what you mean about the dial up. I used to have it because I said that I would never pay that much for high speed internet service. Internet is internet. But the service was so slow that i could not stand it any longer so when Embarq advertised that their internet service was going to be $24.95 a month for as long as you have their service I decided to fork over the extra $15.00. I will never go back to dial up. It's like eating bologna all your life and finally tasting ham :)
