Who thinks this will be a good show? (First post in the forum, w00t)

From TV.com:

A Wisconsin mom arranges to host a foreign exchange student, believing the visitor will help her shy son become more popular. When the student turns out to be a Muslim teenager from Pakistan, her plans go awry--and everyone is likely to learn a little lesson about life.

Justin Tolchuck (Dan Byrd, "The Hills Have Eyes") is a lanky, sensitive 16 year old trying to make it through high school in Medora, Wisconsin with help from his aspiring-entrepreneur Dad (Scott Patterson, "Gilmore Girls"), his popular sister Claire (Lindsey Shaw, "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide"), and his loving mom, Franny (Amy Pietz, "Caroline in the City"). Franny signs up for the school's international exchange student program, and expects an athletic, brilliant Nordic teen to help her outsider son become cool, but instead, she receives a 16-year-old Pakistani Muslim student when he arrives. Despite their cultural differences Justin and Raja quickly befriend one another. The unlikely friendship may help the two navigate the minefield that is high school. It is going to be an interesting year for Raja, Justin, his family and the entire population of Medora.

"Aliens in America" is from CBS Paramount Network Television Inc. and Warner Bros. Television with executive producers Moses Port ("Just Shoot Me", "Mad About You") and David Guarascio ("Just Shoot Me", "Mad About You"). Luke Greenfield directed the pilot.

#1? No way. It will be #6, lol, because it is on The CW. Samantha Who, Back to You or Cavemen will probably be #1. Carpoolers and Big Bang Theory will do decent too.. And there you have it, all the new sitcoms this fall. Just 6.

yea but the CW has different expectations. It could be #6 and still last awhile while one of the others is higher rated and get's canceled.

I don't get why Aliens in America would be required in front of it because it's already in the Aliens in America forum.

The CW had some sort of backstage show on the other night, where they were showing previews for all their shows. They made about a 2 minute video for "Aliens In America", and I must say, it looked REALLY good. I actually laughed out loud TWICE. It also seems like there will be a few heartfelt moments. I can't wait to check the show out.
