I remember a story where a college girl was shot at a traffic light but later died at the hospital. It was suspected that her boyfriend was somehow responsible and that it may have involved an insurance scam that the girl and her boyfriend and a group of friends were involved in but the girl might have wanted out it but was killed as a result. I also believe there was a book written about the case as well. Does anyone remember this story?

This is the case of Kaitlyn Arquette. Yes, I believe she was killed because of her involvement in the insurance scam. She probably wanted out and was killed for that reason.
