Okay so at the beginning of summer I went around town trying to get a job, nothing. My mom told me to wait till about now, cause last years seniors will be going off to college and jobs will open so now what do I do? Do I need to re-apply at these places or just wait for a call or what?

What kind of places did you apply to? You may just give them a call or stop in and let them know you applied and you'd like your application reviewed again.

Like the local grocery store, gym. video store, family dollar, stuff like that

Ah, well, you might just call and ask if they still have your application on file and if they have openings, you still want to apply. Easier than having to fill out another application if you don't have to.

Im a head chef at a resturant in town where i live, i dont own it but i employ the kitchen staff, best thing is to do say your willing learn the job show your keen. I go off the interview with the person one to one if they seem willing eager for work no criminal records them i give them a chance.If your on the records just call them and explain.It all boils down to them having a job spare for you.Good luck.;)
