sweetdiggity 08-25-2007, 05:49 PM I had a mini-marathon of my own today. :king:
Arthur, Spooner
Window Pain
Holy Mackerel
I saw the one where Carrie wears her hair in a bun and Doug hates it. And then he's afraid she'll wear it like that to his high school reunion.
The one where Doug and Deacon win $5000 on a boxing match and then have to get rid of the money before Carrie and Kelly find out about it. Eddie Money was in this episode, I wish he'd had more airtime and lines.
sweetdiggity 08-30-2007, 11:12 PM The one where Doug and Deacon win $5000 on a boxing match and then have to get rid of the money before Carrie and Kelly find out about it. Eddie Money was in this episode, I wish he'd had more airtime and lines.
Doug:"Hey, money for Money."
Eddie:"I don't follow."
Great episode.

Scoobiedoo30 10-16-2007, 10:52 PM Entertainment Weekly
the truth 10-25-2007, 10:16 PM This one....
Doug: "I'm gonna throw something out there, now don't shoot it down right away. Just let it WASH over you."
Carrie: "OK"
Doug: "I'm thinking of loaning you out to Deacon."
^ lol!
I watched the one where the old grill kept flaming up and burning off Doug's eyebrows. He wants to buy a new one but Carrie has other plans for the money.
James28 12-19-2007, 08:44 AM I saw the episode Wish Boned. At the end of the episode, Doug is sitting on a chair for TV viewing. It is a chair with a TV attached to it. Do chairs for TV viewing exist in real life?
^ I've never seen one around here. lol!
I watched the episode where Doug finds out Carrie's been buying his clothes at the big & tall shop and he decides to lose weight.
phoebe7165 12-27-2007, 04:25 PM Bun Dummy
Last night on our local station. I still laugh at this part:
Carrie:Perhaps you would like my bun better if it had powder sugar on it.
Doug: Oh, it took some time but you finally went there, fatty like cake!!
I watched the one where Doug buys Carrie a camera for Christmas but she gets a better camera from someone at work, so then Doug buys her a sweater with a giraffe on it. lol!
The one about the bed & breakfast was on the other day, & seeing that little cat, Marmalade, follow Doug around was so cute. He almost ends up going home with them.
phoebe7165 02-09-2008, 05:57 PM The one where Carrie was supposed to make a cake for the church bake sale and they brought a cushion with frosting on it instead.
2 funny parts -
Doug tells Carrie to get the frosting, she says she didn't have frosting and he says "in my nightstand, go, now"! Reminds me of Blanche on Golden Girls. When they needed whipped cream for the cheesecake, Blanche says "oh, I got it in my bedroom"!! Of course, for a totally different reason!!
2nd part - when Doug is doing the cake walk and the volcano cake starts erupting and he's drawn to it. He tells Carrie he's never seen caramel do that before!!
^ That was funny one! ^
The one where those carpenters are tearing the house apart to get rid of the mold.
Ireneparalegal 03-24-2008, 07:02 PM EDDIE MONEY. I even made a thread abt it because something didn't make sense.

dougsteveheff 10-06-2008, 11:28 AM the episode where D&C decide to sleep on seperate beds...The whole episode is hysterical. The best part was when D&C defend themselves saying that everything is fine and we can hear Arthur saying something.Everyone wonders where the voice is coming from.He is actually seeing everything from his new found window which is at ground level. That scene was hilarious.some others...
Arthur to Mickey:Go from the back door.I dont want that maniac(Lou Ferrigno) thinking that we are a couple.
Doug:How did it (the bed) break?
Carrie stares at him
Doug in sharp voice:Eyes off me!
Doug to Carrie:Its like lights off at the orphanage and you are the new girl.

HuntingtonM15 06-05-2009, 05:59 PM Rayny Day
DougHalfaman74 03-17-2011, 07:09 PM The last episode of the KOQ that I saw was 'Assaulted Nuts.' This is by far my favorite episode. The entire cast does a brilliant job cracking me up. Doug stapling his nether regions, Carrie's quick comebacks & Arthur being Arthur. "You stapled yourself in the mall?" is one of my favorite lines. I miss this show immensly. I don't care how much flak I get; KOQ is by far the greatest sitcom of all time.
Yong Fang 03-22-2013, 08:14 AM I live in China and teach English at a college here.
I have two DVD's of the first season of the show and show the students the episode of when Doug buys a motorbike or another episode where Doug accidentally staples his testicles during horseplay.
Yong Fang 03-29-2013, 06:52 AM I am a college teacher in China, and I will show shows like King of Queens sometimes at the last 20 minutes of class. The kids to a student really like the show.
Two episodes I show is when Doug buys a big motorbike he cannot ride and then (the next episode on my disc) when Doug accidentally shoots himself in the privates with a staple gun during horseplay.

^ Both of those episodes are very funny.
The last one I watched was "S'Ain't Valentine's". Doug, Deacon & Richie end up spending most of their evening with Spence's tipsy mom.
James28 02-15-2014, 05:35 AM I just watched the "S'ain't Valentine's" episode recently, and Spence's mother Veronica (portrayed by Grace Zabriskie, since Anne Meara had a different role in the episode) looked sorta pretty. I mean, the outfit she wore, her playing the cha-cha music, and her being all tipsy and stuff. I gotta admit, she was really sexy.
^ I thought Grace did a wonderful job on that episode. ^
Driving Reign was the last episode I watched. It's the one where Danny goes to work as a driver at IPS.
usually every night, at least one episode, when it's on TV Land. I don';t ge why they rerun some of the same ones the next night, around the same time, though.
I was never into the show, but I started watching a year or so ago, and enjoy it. Not one that would be regarded as one of the greatest shows ever (compared to the classics), but enjoyable in its own right.
Both Doug and Carrie, though, have more than their fair share of being-a-dope moments.
dguy24 10-24-2015, 07:17 PM I literally watch this show everyday. They play 2 hours of it every night on TVLand everyday day of the week and I have the complete series on my hard drive.
Last episode I saw was when Carrie gets jealous when Dougs mom hangs out with his old girlfriend from high school and Doug tries to finish writing that song "oh Margie".....LOL!
Mark Mallard 02-03-2016, 06:45 PM "S'No Job"
I'd never seen this episode before, and to my disappointment, it wasn't really that great. I'm not big on Danny in the show, and he was- more or less- the central focus of the episode. Gary Valentine is funny in other roles, such as his role in Here Comes the Boom ("Oh yeah! Well, guess who's not getting a hamster!"), but Danny the character doesn't do much for me. If ranking episodes based on laughter was the sole means of ranking, this one would sit towards the bottom. Of course, I'll have to watch it again to reaffirm, but for now, I can see this being an episode I won't frequently revisit.
I bought Season 3 not long ago and have found many of its episodes to be sub-par, which is a shame because seasons such as 1 are jam-packed with legendary episodes. The only Season 3 episodes that have stuck with me are "Paint Misbehavin'," "Strike Out," "Class Struggle" (mainly for the "Doug and Carrie" song, haha!), "Strike Too" (for Doug dressing up in the powdered wig and saying "Here ye! Here ye!"), "Papa Pill," "Separation Anxiety," and "Wedding Presence." There may be others (though any more could become the majority and turn my opinion around for Season 3, hahaha), but there's some kind of noticeable decline in "classic" episode appeal between Seasons 2 and 3, almost as if Season 3 was merely a filler for whatever the producers had in mind for the rest of the show. I say that because I've found myself heavily enjoying episodes from the later seasons, such as "Inn Escapable," "Precedent Nixin'," and "Awed Couple."
Richie's Song from the first season.
dguy24 11-29-2016, 01:45 AM I still watch it every single night on TVLand. At the moment the pole dance episode is currently on. Definitely a classic fav.:D  ;)
Mark Mallard 12-09-2016, 06:57 PM "Doug Out"- Am I right in remembering that Doug and Carrie have a dog named Stanley in this episode? I think I remember Stanley in some 1st Season episodes, but I was surprised to see him past that point in the show. Can anyone clarify what happened to Stanley? Did he get dropped from the show without mention? I could see why the writers would do that, considering that Stanley was seemingly not given a significant role in the show.
Thanks, Man (One of the Thanksgiving episodes where a guy ends up robbing their house)
