okay, something has seriously been bothering me lately, for a while now, and i figure i'd get it off my chest.

there's this friend of mine, we've been friends for a while, and i think he likes me. yes, HE. and i'm straight, lol. he's fun to hang around with but obviously i don't wanna "date" him, but i think confronting him about it would ruin the friendship, and right now he's one of the only friends i have so tha'd suck if it happened. i also think he's one of the few TRUE friends i have at the moment and losing the friendship with him would leave me with like hardly any true friends. but i'm getting weirded out by him. i'm not at all homophobic, but it keeps getting more and more awkward. about 2 weeks ago he said something about being bi-curious to me. now he SWEARS that he didn't, but he seriously did. not only that, but apparently he made some comment to another friend of ours about 'marrying me'. i wasn't there when he said it but my friend told me he was definitely joking. still, it makes me uncomfortable because of crap that he's done/said in the past. but back then i never thought anything about it. also, when we were hanging out at our friend erin's house (the same one he made the "marriage" comment to) he put his hand on mine. he tried to make it look like an accident but he looked sad when i pulled away. i dunno, maybe i'm overreacting. am i? i just wanna know if this is just me being paranoid or if maybe he really DOES like me. it's been bugging me for a while.

thanks for any help :)

Simply put, be honest with him, the way you would with a girl who liked you, but that you didnt feel the same about. Yes, it could end the friendship but, things remaining as aukward as they are now, isnt much better. Of course, its possible that you mistook what he meant, the best way to know, is to talk frankly and honestly. Think about what you want to ask, then be honest and non-judgemental, tell him where he stands and if your suspicions are correct, that you just will never see him "that" way, however you would like to stay friends......good luck Joe
