And networks wonder why they lose viewers. I didn't even bother watching because I figured ABC would just pull it again.

Figures. The Knights of Prosperity was the only good sitcom ABC had and they treated it like garbage.

The ratings were not good, but I really think they should have launched it in the fall instead of January. It was the best single camera sitcom that actually was laugh-out loud funny. Most of the single camera sitcoms are just sophisticatedly (Arrested Development, Sons & Daughters) funny.

abc never gave it a chance in the first place; moving it around, delaying it, skipping the second episode, then pulling it too soon

it was a good show, if more people had gotten a chance to SEE it, it could've done better.

They could have at least shown all the episodes. Who cares about summer ratings anyway. Half their audience is doing other things.

As long as they put them all on abc.com, I'm fine with it.

sure, if they ever get it to work consistently - i am not patient enough to try watch anything on abc ever again

robyrob...what kind of computer and internet connection do you have? It works fine for me EVERYTIME. ABC.com's player is the best player out there for network websites.

I hope they put the rest of the series on www.abc.com

yeah, it is not any of my computers or connections that is the problem - continuous "buffering" and choppy video/out-of sync audio on one isolated site doesn't point at the problem being on my end

do you think that abc will ever realize that they can't build viewers' loyalty and get people to check out new shows if they keep screwing us over every time they don't get an immediate hit?

I don't particularly care for NBC either but at least they stuck with Friday Night Lights and 30 Rock even though they don't have large viewers. ABC could learn a lesson from them.

yeah, sometimes shows take a little time to build a following - remember when they used to show reruns during the summer so you could actually check out new shows that you missed the first time?

FOX is another network that really sucks for having no patience for new shows - unless its a crappy reality show of course.

You need at least 1 GHz and 256MB RAM for it to work properly. I've never gotten the buffering problem. Try now...they have made it even better. They added a HD channel recently. You can watch Lost in HD on abc.com...you just need a very fast computer with great resolution.

I will tell you what you can watch and not be afraid of failing this fall: Pushing Daisies, Private Practice (GA spin-off), and Dirty Sexy Money. Cavemen and Carpoolers you can try, too, but they are not certain to be hits. That new ABC Wednesday has so much buzz...especially Pushing Daisies, which I have seen and loved every bit of it.

ABC's dramas are all very good. The sitcoms need work, the Knights was good, but it didn't fit their brand of comedies I guess.

As for 30 Rock and FNL, those were critically acclaimed, that is why NBC is returning them. I wouldn't be too surprised if FNL was dropped quickly this fall, as it will air Fridays at 10. I wouldn't count on that show lasting past season 2.
And ABC was going to return the Knights for season 2 and hold these final four episodes over for a second season, but Ray Romano didn't sign on.

Yea that's why I hardly watch any TV in the summer anymore. All they show is Reality tv.

like I said, that's definitely not the problem (2.8GHz, 2GB ram, 512MB video RAM, etc) - its probably just too busy every time I have tried to watch anything there - and I just don't have the patience for it

i will probably watch Pushing Daisies, but I have no interest in any of the others, and I haven't seen too much in the promos from other networks that looks very good either.

I really don't understand why they are pushing ahead with Cavemen - even the 2 minute commercials have gotten annoying by now.

From the other networks: NBC has a good drama in Chuck, but as always, ratings will be a concern. CBS's sitcom The Big Bang Theory also looks good, but it isn't after Two and a Half Men, so it won't do as well.
