Mine Is THE COSBY SHOW YUCK AB 08-07-2007, 06:10 PM Family Matters, I just never liked it. My husband & son think its really funny though. GARFIELDKOOL 08-07-2007, 06:58 PM I don't really have a least favorite, because there are so many I don't like, just as many as I like. But, I must say, M*A*S*H doesn't do anything for me. never got into it. Mikado 08-07-2007, 07:17 PM Theres so many i hate...Basically, I hate ALL Cop/drama shows.....the whole idea that murder is a form of entertainment, is morally disgusting to me! As far as sitcoms go, there hasnt been a good one ( other than Corner Gas and Frasier ) since Cheers ended, but, the worst of ythe bunch would have to be Full House, a "comedy" aimed at preschoolers, that cursed us forever, by introducing the Olsen Twins to the World. Classicshowsgurl15 08-07-2007, 07:34 PM I have alot of favorites, but the ones that I don't like are What's Happening and Roseanne. What's Happening is a stupid show and never did anything for me. Roseanne I don't like because I don't like how her kids are and stuff. JulieSomoski 08-07-2007, 07:40 PM The shows you all listed are some of my favorites LOL! My least favorite show would have to be Cheers. I watched quite a lot of it on NAN, but I could never get into it. I always thought the idea of having an entire show in a bar was just a horrible idea. samanddiane4eva 08-07-2007, 07:54 PM My least favorite is Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Once N@N stops playing it every night, then maybe after a few months I could watch it again ever so often. I doubt that's in the near future though. Buffyboy323 08-08-2007, 06:38 PM I don't think it would be cool to bash shows I've never seen...So with that said, 1 show I have seen is MASH. Ugh...When I was little, I watched it quite often. I really don't know how I used to sit through that show. Another one I can't take is The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. I haven't watched that show since I was about 10....It doesn't deserve as much attention as it`s been getting these last couple of years. Nighthawk76 08-08-2007, 06:43 PM Law & Order...not to mention its 15 spin-offs. sweetdiggity 08-08-2007, 07:15 PM Two And A Half Men How I Met Your Mother My Name Is Earl Scrubs The Office I'm sure there's more. tanquant 08-08-2007, 07:25 PM Mash Bonanza Gunsmoke House of Pain College Hill South Park How I met Your Mother freshprinceofLA 08-08-2007, 07:47 PM Bonanza and gunsmoke yuck those shows put me to sleep not to mention tv land plays em a lot Tubehead 08-08-2007, 08:29 PM Cheers the cobsy show Mash Designing Women All in the family Leave it to beaver I can't stand this show. green acres I can't stand this show. Classicshowsgurl15 08-10-2007, 05:21 AM I agree with you Dawsongirl, I don't like Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives either. Of other shows. I just love Oakville! Chocoholic 08-11-2007, 07:29 PM Basically, I hate ALL Cop/drama shows.....the whole idea that murder is a form of entertainment, is morally disgusting to me! I feel the same way. I can't stand watching murder mysteries and stuff like that. Graphic, senseless violence is so much more offensive to me than crude language and sexual situations. Adamantium 08-11-2007, 07:51 PM I'm only counting sitcoms for this list. I don't like many dramas or other genres anyways. Here goes. Looking up all the shows that have messageboards here, going from the 1950s to today, here are the shows I DON'T like. 1950s: Oddly enough, with the 50s either I haven't seen them, or I like them. There are no shows from the fifties that I've seen and don't like. 1960s: The Beverly Hillbillies - Some of the early black and white ones are okay. I don't see how this show lasted as long as it did. Well, I know how, of course - the high ratings. I just don't understand how it could be high rated. The Flying Nun - I bought the season one DVD, and it just didn't entertain me at all. Even Sally Field doesn't seem to like the show all that much. And how can you really get into a show that the star doesn't even like? 1970s: Much like the fifties, there are some on this list that I haven't seen. A lot that I have seen, I either love or are just okay. There really aren't any that I plain out hate. However, very low on my list are: Sanford and Son - Good for a season or two. I don't understand it's popularity. Fred would make the same jokes over and over again. I couldn't stand Aunt Esther. Lamont was kind of a jerk. Grady was funny, but annoying after a while. I can't see why they would feel the need to spin him off! So even though it's a classic show, and I own the DVDs, it will never be in a top 10 (or even hundred) list for me. That's My Mama - I bought both DVDs but it's not that good. I like the relationship bewteen Clifton and Earl, but I can't stand the "Mama" or Junior (worst character ever!) or anyone else for that matter. For many years I couldn't stand "The Jeffersons." And while I don't consider myself a fan of the show, I like it more than I did. I think it ran way too long though, and I never liked the second Lionel. 1980s: The Cosby Show - I give it credit for "saving the sitcom" in the '80s, but I'll never like it. And I tried. It's just not my kind of sitcom. Bill Cosby's a funny guy and I enjoy his earlier sitcom "The Bill Cosby Show" as well as his later sitcom "Cosby" but his most famous sitcom, I dislike. Sledge Hammer - I bought both DVDs and found the show in the humorous category, but I still disliked it enough that I just gave away the DVDs, without regret. Also, I've hated "Mamas Family" for many years. But when I watched the DVD (albeit, edited) I found some humor in it. It's not as bad as I remembered. I'm kind of surprised. I'm always bashing the 1980s (in my head) and yet when I read the list of 80s sitcoms, there's only the two that I really don't like. The others I either haven't seen or loved or kind of liked. 1990s: Caroline in the City - I admit, I haven't seen much of this show. But what I've seen didn't make me laugh. It did however, annoy me. City Guys - My sister loves this show. I, on the other hand, not so much. It was a nice show for TNBC, I guess. But I'm not a fan. Cybill - I can't stand it's two stars. Thus, I can't stand the show. Dharma & Greg - Jenna Elfman is the epitome of annoying actress. And it shows in this crap. Dream On - I gave this a chance, but didn't like it. The Jamie Foxx Show - I bought the first season on DVD and have no problems with them abandoning the series, other than I feel bad for the fans. Just Shoot Me! - I've tried so many times with this show. I even own the DVD. I just can't get into it. It's so not funny and yet it was high rated and is considered a modern classic, even coming to TV Land soon. It had good actors, but was a bad show. The Nanny - I've tried watching this show, but not once has it made me laugh. I can't stand ANY of the actors, especially Fran (the star!) and the butler. I don't see what the appeal of this show is. That said, I still hope that they continue releasing it on DVD for the fans. Veronica's Closet - There's not much to say about this show, other than... I don't like it. The Wayans Bros. - I liked it when it was new, but when I watched the DVD, I found out how stupid the show really is. I'm torn with "Spin City." I like Michael J. Fox and many of the actors on the show. But the show itself isn't that good. So I don't want to bash it, because I do watch it from time to time, but it's nowhere near being a classic in my book. And since I'm me, "my book" is what counts. :) 2000s: Becker - A nice attempt at a sitcom, and I like Ted Danson. But this show really isn't good. Not once has it made me laugh, nor do I care about the characters. And those are obviously important things to me. The Brother's Garcia - I've only seen it a few times, and I wish I hadn't. It's really bad! George Lopez - I like my sitcoms to make me laugh. This show doesn't do that. I feel bad that it's been cancelled, but I'm never going to watch this show again, anyways. I really can't stand it. Lopez seems like a nice guy and his show seems popular enough, but I'll never like it. Good Morning, Miami - Oh how I hate this show. I was so glad to hear it was cancelled. Hope & Faith - My vote for WORST SITCOM EVER! I watched it during TGIF a few years back, when it was 8 Simple Rules, Complete Savages, Hope & Faith and Less Than Perfect. I enjoyed the three shows, that oddly enough, didn't come back the next year (though LTP came back for a very short run later that year). It's so stupid and I'm glad it's gone. Malcolm in the Middle - I've tried to like this show. But it always manages to annoy me. It's out to be a really smart and realistic show, but I hate it. The only funny one in that show is the dad. But he's not enough to make me watch the show. That's So Raven - It started out okay, but I can't stand Raven at all. She screams way too much (which annoys me) and I don't think she's funny at all. I know it's a Disney show and is mostly for kids and teens, but that's no need to make a blatantly stupid show. What happened to teen shows like "Hey Dude"? Will & Grace - Maybe I wouldn't hate this show if it wasn't so popular. I've never liked it, nor have I found it funny. But it was the show's high ratings and popularity that caused me to actually HATE this show. Again, it's filled with good actors (I loved Debra in "Ned & Stacey") but the show itself sucked. TODAY: According to Jim - It means well, I guess. But it's just stupid, to me. Jim Belushi is a funny guy, I just don't like this show. Cory in the House - I bashed Raven, but this show is so much worse. That's right. They take the worst character from "Raven" and send him to the White House. Then surround him with stupid plotlines, bad writing and idiotic guests. I'm ashamed of the guy who plays the President, because I loved him in "Quantum Leap." It's sad, seeing him do this crap. The Office - I don't hate this that much. But I don't see what's all that great about it. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody - The girls are okay, the twins (and stars of the show) suck big time. But it's okay as a kids show, I guess. Two and a Half Men - How can this be the top rated sitcom of today? I really can't even begin to understand that. I guess in the world we live in, it's almost fitting that one of the worst shows of this decade is the highest rated. So to simplify my list: The Beverly Hillbillies The Flying Nun Sanford and Son That's My Mama The Cosby Show Sledge Hammer Caroline in the City City Guys Cybill Dharma & Greg Dream On The Jamie Foxx Show Just Shoot Me! Ok, so my main beef used to be that TV Land used this show to suddenly replace The Monkees during 1997s Block Party Summer on N@N. It pissed me off because I liked the Monkees, not the pig. I'll never forget that day. Because I was taping "The Monkees" every Monday and then one day, just shy of finishing the first season, they air the first six episodes of "Green Acres." I remember thinking it was a mistake and even waited until their second showing later that night, but it was once again "Green Acres." And then the next week, I was hoping to see "The Monkees" again. But nope. Look at things now. Both seasons of "The Monkees" are on DVD, while "Green Acres" seems to be abandoned. Sal 08-12-2007, 01:07 PM Just giving my opinion. No need to be rude. Tony Danza was so good in Taxi, but this show has scarred him for life. Since it's ended, no one has taken him seriously as an actor. He's become a pathetic joke! At least Alyssa Milano was nice to look at. That's about the only positive thing I can think about regarding "Who's The Boss?". If I come up with something else, I'll let you know. It just might take me a while. waichingliu81 08-18-2007, 08:00 AM I'm only counting sitcoms for this list. I don't like many dramas or other genres anyways. Here goes..... Looking up all the shows that have messageboards here, going from the 1950s to today, here are the shows I DON'T like. I don't see what is so funny about the show. Adamantium 08-18-2007, 05:10 PM wow, that's quite a long list. as a viewer of caroline in the city, two and a half men, that's so raven and the cosby show, it's intriguing to find them on your most disliked shows list, as i like those shows. I figured I could list one or two shows I don't like or HEY, I could list all of them! So I went through all the decades on this messageboard and listed the ones I don't like. I'm the kind of guy that if I say something for one show, I have to say something for all the shows. As for Two and a Half Men, I wouldn't hate it so much if it was low rated. I've never liked the show and I have seen it. I'm not judging something I've never seen before. But what gets me extra angry at the show is that it's the number one sitcom on TV today. I tend to get meaner towards shows I don't like that are very popular and high rated. That could be because most of my favorites were always low rated and I could never understand how "NewsRadio" was low rated and "Just Shoot Me" was always high rated.
