The last season of AITF was season 9 so they still have 3 more to go. Usually it is announced by now and the AITF seasons have been released in the January/February timeframe. Either way, I'm glad they haven't given up and are still going with the releases even if they are only once a year. :)

I'm not a Jefferson's fan, but I'm ready for season 7 of AITF. Hopefully it will be announced soon. For me, season 7 was really the last good season, the last season of AITF as we knew it. With season 8 came changes, Archie taking over Kelsey's, the Edith rape episodes, the Stivic's moving out west, the arrival of Stephanie in season 9, and Edith passing away in the second season of Archie Bunker's Place. For me, AITF wasn't the same show anymore after that 7th season, much of the original charm and humor was gone and replaced with more dramatic situations. So I prefer seasons 1 thru 7 of AITF, those are the classic seasons.

I see what you mean. I don't really believe those DVD releases will happen just coz wikipedia says so. I think Sony Pictures studio is in a slump coz many TV shows on DVD from that studio hasn't been announced and released lately.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony skipped these shows this year. Their tv-on-dvd plans are not exactly logical according to sales or popularity of a show. They have other shows (Facts Of Life, Hart to Hart) that have had over a year since the last season was released and still nothing. So, I'm not taking any show Sony owns right now as a probable release this year or next. They're just taking way too long to make announcements. Although there was that rumor that Facts and The Nanny were coming in April, nothing concrete has surfaced yet. Does anyone still work in the tv-on-dvd department at Sony???
