Has anybody ever noticed them before? They were very noticable in a number of scenes in the 2nd season. I can understand why Lou Ferrigno would want to wear slippers instead of being barefoot, especially in some of those outdoor scenes, but the director definitely could have done a better job by not showing them so much, so the viewers wouldn't notice them.

Yeah!I noticed them.He even wore them on a very memorable poster that my boyfriend had as teenager.
Yeah, As a fan of that series, I always loved picking out the scenes where Lou wore slippers.
They're especially noticable in "Terror In Times Square" when the Hulk is running through midtown Manhattan at the climax.
But since I live in New York City, I can totally sympathize with Lou: I have no desire to walk around barefoot on the streets at all..
I can;t imagine what was on the ground in Times Square in the 70's.

I can't remember the episode, but I saw them as well in season 2. To me it looked like some kind of green costume or stockings. LOL I actually had to back the scene up and see it a couple of more times.

Apparently I don't look at his feet. Though I have noticed them in Terror in Times Square, but only because it's been mentioned so many times I had to look.

When he's running through Times Square and again in The Beast Within, those are the episodes where I especially remember seeing him in those slippers.
