The Biggest Decision (Part 1 of 4)
(The theme song plays and then the camera focuses on Tootie who is on the phone with Jeff in the kitchen)
T: Yupp..uh hu..I know..I love you too! (Smiles) okay Buhbye!
J: (Walks in) Who was that Tootie?
T: Oh..Jeff. He said he might be able to come home for a while!
J: Hey, that's great!
T: I know! I can't wait to see him!
B: (Walks in) Hello everybody.
T: Hi Blair..guess what?
B: Jeff is coming?
T: How'd you know?!
B: Oh I have my ways. (Smiles) I heard you in the other room! Ya think you could be a little more calmer about it?
T: Nope! (Smiles)
(They hear Natalie yell in the living room)
J: Uh oh...
(All the girls run into the living room)
B: Natalie what's the matter?
N: I have writer's block!!! Again!!
J: Next time make it important. (Leaves)
N: This is important!!
T: Nat you'll get some ideas soon. (Leaves the room)
B: (Follows out of the room)
N: (Drops head on typewriter but then picks it up) Ow!!
(The camera focuses on Beverly Ann who walks into the kitchen)
BA: Hello Tootie.
T: Hey Bev, guess what? Jeff is coming!!
BA: Oh how exciting!
T: He should be coming Wednesday. We gotta pick him up at the airport.
BA: Oky Doky!
B: (Walks in) Bev I'm going to Bloomingdales.
T: Blair weren't you just there yesterday?
B: Not that I can remember! (Walks out)
T: Doesn't she ever quit shopping?!
J: (Walks in overhearing what Tootie says) Hm...No.
(The camera focuses on Blair who is waiting while the cashier is ringing up her stuff)
CASH: That'll be $104.00, mam.
B: (Hands cash)
CASH: Your 10 bucks short.
B: What? (Looks through purse) I don't have anymore money..this HAS to be a mistake! Blair Warner never runs out of money..not at BLOOMINGDALES!
CASH: Well..I guess today is a milestone then!!
(Suddenly a man cuts Blair)
MAN: Here..I'll cover the 10 bucks. (Hands the cashier the 10 dollars)
B: Uh..thanks!
MAN: Anytime. I couldn't resist not to help a gorgeous lady like you.
B: (Giggles and flips her hair) Well..what can I say? (Moves out of line)
MAN: Where are you from?
B: Oh..Peekskill. Around here.
MAN: That's wierd..me too!
B: Oh really??
MAN: Yupp. Oh yeah..and you can call me Kevin.
B: Oh..Ok Kevin. (Smile)
K: Hey, would you like to go out for dinner one night?
B: Dinner? When?
K: I dunno..how about..tomarrow night?
B: I dunno if I have plans or not..can I get your number? I'll call you if I don't.
K: Sure. (Gives Blair his phone number) See ya around.
B: Buhbye!
(The camera focuses on Blair talking to Beverly Ann, Tootie, Jo, and Natalie)
B: And this guy named Kevin covered my 10 bucks for me..it was so sweet!
J: And.......?
B: AND he asked me out to dinner.
T: Oooo what did you say?
B: I said I would check my planner and call him with the answer..I already did that..I was free. (Smiles)
J: I knew you couldn't stand being free!
(Rick walks into the room)
R: Hey everyone.
J: Rick!! (hugs him)
T: Hi Rick.
N: Hi Rick.
R: Hey everyone..what's up?
T: Jeff is coming to visit Wednesday!!
N: Tootie you said that 10 times today.
B: Right now she just turned it to 11.
(Everyone laughs)
T: Well..I haven't seen him for a LONG time and (Someone knocks on the door)
B: I'll get it. (Answers and sees Kevin) Kevin!! What are you doing here??
K: Just thought I'd drop by. IF it's ok with you?
B: Oh it's fine, come in.
K: (Walks in)
B: Everyone, meet Kevin.
(Everyone says hello, hi, ect...)
K: Hey people.
B: Oh! (takes a 10 dollar bill out of her pocket and hands it to him) This is for paying for my stuff.
K: Nah...you can keep it.
B: (Smiles)
K: Blair..how about we go out tonight?
B: Tonight?? Why so sudden?
K: Because...I just realized I couldn't make it tomarrow night.
B: Oh..um..ok..I'll go get changed. (Walks upstairs)
T: And I thought Jeff was fast?
(About 15 minutes pass and Blair comes down the stairs. Everyone is now out of the living room)
B: Ready!
K: Took you long enough! (Winks) Let's go.
(They both leave the house)
