Well, it really doesn't matter what some people say whether a channel is geared towards family or not. As long as you like the shows, what difference does it make? No one is telling you not to watch certain shows. That is your privilege. Just watch them and enjoy.

Maybe this so-called "adult" needs to turn off the TV and pick up a newspaper.

If you like watching the Disney Channel even though you're old enough to vote and drink a beer, then that's fine by me. In my own humble opinion, the stuff on this network, Nick, and ABC Family are geared towards kids and teens. I prefer TV shows geared towards an adult audience and have zero interest in anything on this network.

I thought that The Disney Channel was geared to tweens now, not family, not teens and not children (Outside of Playhouse Disney).

The Disney Channel is a Family TV Network. 95% of their TV Shows & Movies are rated "TV-G".

Go down to the bottom and read what it says about "TV-G". The Disney Channel is even talked about in it.

I know Wikipedia is unreliable. It also says Disney shows are "children" shows, but Wikipedia ALSO says Disney is for the entire family. It IS for the entire family, but Wiki is not my only proof. When Disney said a 3rd season of "The Suite Life" was going to happen, they said "it's one of the classic shows of kids & FAMILY TV."

Wiki CAN have facts when people who are fans of something are doing it. Some people just do it so they can be a part of the web and or be stupid and write wrong info. But, if you look around you will find that a lot of TV show info is right.
