I know theres the older very large thread about UM's return to television through HBO, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything more since that original posting online by tvsquad or whoever. I know someone has posted on here that has contacts within Cosgrove/meurer. Sorry to make another post about this, but this is too big a subject for just one thread, ha.

It is still in the early stages, so it will likely be some time before we know anything else beyond what Broadcasting & Cable announced in June. But that's not uncommon. When a given TV project is first announced, it can be months (or even a year) before there are any official updates. Such projects take some time before they reach fruition. So we will have to be patient.

As the old saying goes, good things come to those who wait. :)

all I can say is, I don't care if the case is solved, I want a new batch of interviews with Danny Wheeler and Bob Bean!

That "someone" is MysterySolver. I forgot to mention that earlier. It couldn't hurt to contact him/her to find out if he/she has any relevant information other than what was mentioned in the Broadcasting & Cable article.

Also, the planned comeback for the show is through HBO's distribution wing. More than likely, it won't be shown on the HBO network. Instead, it will be on another cable network. The B&C article gave a few hints on that, including the comment about making show "attractive to network buyers."

OH, that would be classic! It's been years since I've been to Chicago (where the show is taped) but I'd go back if they were going to be on it!
