I have so far purchased all 4 season of Wings. The other night I pulled out season two and watched a few episodes and thought the quality was pretty bad. Has anyone else noticed this? I purchased all 4 from Amazon.

The poor video quality is not Amazon's fault, it's Paramounts. The Wings footage could have been bad, or maybe they didn't feel like cleaning it up...lol.

And I just ordered Season 3 from Amazon, a Season I didn't really get to see much of.

One of the main reasons why I waited so long to buy season sets of Wings is because I heard the quality was so bad for the first 2 sets. I have most of the episodes on tape and I figured I'd just transfer episodes from the first couple of seasons onto DVD eventually and just buy the other seasons when they come out. I tried to record them to DVD but then I noticed that the tapes were a little worn out. I taped the show in SP mode and thought the quality was supposed to be pretty good but I failed to realize that when you watch your tapes over and over again, they start to wear out after a while. :lol: So I finally broke down and bought seasons 1&2 recently and was surprised that the quality wasn't bad at all, at least not on my 19 inch screen tv which is about 10 years old. :cool:
