Long story. Came up suddenly over a week ago. I'm leaving sometime today. This is a trial period, but it may or may not become permanent.
This is something I've wanted to do for a very long time... I've been vacationing mainly in Minneapolis since I was a young child, so I've already been to the area. I just wish it wasn't RIGHT NOW, what with the circumstances and such surrounding this move... I guess you could call it a bittersweet thing.
Having had just a week to do this is so little time. The last time I made a major move was in 2003, and I had over a month to prepare for the move. I was all ready to leave on move-out day. I sure as hell don't feel ready right now. :p Never mind that the last time, I was just moving 200 miles across the state. This time, 450+ miles and into a new state.
I think I'm going to be able to *cough"borrow"cough* a wifi connection and log on here via my Nintendo DS... I'm not going to have actual internet access of my own for a little while. So I might still be around but not posting very much, because the connection speed on my DS is nothing to write home about. (har har har, I'm here at home...:grr:)
And, um, I guess that's it. My birthday is coming up, so I get to turn 22 in Minneapolis... Too bad it's not 21, hah. Good luck to me, and all that.
