Near the end of season 2 there is an episode called " The Catnapper." It starts off with the Stephenses in bed, Darrin snores and Sam goes downstairs to sleep on the couch. Then she hears more snoring and goes out in the backyard and there is a huge dog sleeping there. She casually looks at it and sits down, exasperated.

It blows my mind that she isn't surprised to see that beast in her yard! She doesn't even question it. She acts as if he is there all the time.

Does anyone have an explanation for the dog being there? Did I miss something? :confused:

I agree...remember the pelican in the backyard? Sam just said, "Goodnight, Mother!" and it left. :lol: (That was in Season 1, btw.)

Samantha was used to the unusual, she just took it in stride when strange things happened or appeared.
That's right. That sort of thing didn't faze her too much.
