I have seen most segments on UM dozens of times, and I have all of the favorites from crystaldawn. Every morning while I'm getting ready for work I watch it for about an hour. I don't know of any other show I have ever seen that I can watch over and over and still find it interesting. Although there are some stories I can no longer take(most that don't involve unsolved homicides.) Anyways, no real reason for this post, other than there is just something about this show, or that I hate everything on the TV nowadays.

I can totally relate. I have seen so many of these segments many, many times and yet I never get tired of rewatching them.

Hostedbyrobertstack (and Crystaldawn)!

Which episodes are you guys watching over and over again?

I used to watch the following episodes over and over again: Cindy Anderson, Kathy Hobbs, Anthonette Cayedito (so chilling when they play her call!), and a couple others. Oh, and I used to watch Dorothy Allison a lot. Somehow, the "psychic" or "unexplained" element in all of those really attracts me.

I always think it is better to rewatch a good segment (or movie) than to see just an okay one or one which is not terribly compelling.

I totally agree! :) I must have seen most of the old ones, especially those on CD's dvds and some I got on tape, at least a 100 times by now but I never get tired of them, I guess that's quality TV for you :)

I also watch UM segments over & over...will never get tired of them, UM is my all-time favorite show (just ask my family members LOL!). There are certain segments that are my favorites but there are too many to list. I have 31 tapes full of UM episodes. It took a long time to record all of the shows but was definately worth it.

I'm actually getting over UM at the moment. I hardly watch it when it's on CI over here usually because it's the same 1995-2002 garbage week in, week out. I'm more into Man Vs Wild these days. Anyone else watch it?

I totally agree about never tiring of UM. Everytime I watch a segment again I always see it in a different light or it's always fresh again. Also, there's some stuff one might miss from the last time watching the segements that they might pick-up from watching it again.

The theme music just gets me everytime.......the organ sounds.

Also, I like watching segments pertaining to events that took place decades ago because it sort of takes you back in time while you're watching them. (I'm also a big 50s and 60s music, history and memorabilia buff :) ) Like Sonny Listen and Who Killed Superman, etc.

One thing that I thought that UM was pretty good at, especially in the early years, was re-creating the atmosphere at the time of the crime. For instance, if they were re-creating an incident from June 22nd, 1977, they would make the setting look just like that time with the actors and actresses dressed appropriately and with the correct hairstyles, etc.

Even the type of cars on the road......In the Son of Sam clip they had the 'old Ford Galaxy' and the White VW Bug. That took place in 76 and 77.......

Speaking of how UM made the segments authentic era wise I once had someone get a copy of the Joseph Maloney case from me as the vintage stationwagon seen on the segment belonged to him.
