Do you dread having to buy back to school supplies and clothes for the kids in the family?

I have a son to buy for and he wants to get certain pants and shoes for the start of school. I plan on taking him this next weekend to shop and I'm dreading it. Our state is dropping the sales tax on certain items for back to school, it starts Friday and lasts until Sunday. And I know the stores will be jam-packed. But I guess we'll tackle it. lol!

Seeing as I don't have any kids and am out of school myself, I couldn't be happier. Ironically, I work for an office supply chain, so this time of year is our Christmas.

Since my other two kids are adults, my son is the only child I have in school. He will start kindergarten on Aug. 21st. He already graduated from preschool. I don't have much shopping for him to do except maybe a couple more shorts. He has waaaaay too many clothes that people have bought for him.

As for school supplies, since it is kindergarten, they will supply what he needs. He has three backpacks and they are still in great condition. So, no shopping for school supplies.

I feel for you, Ann!!

I'm so glad I don't have to buy school supplies. I was just at the store tonight and there's a section that has lists of what each school and each grade is required to have. There's also a part about not to bring, like mechanical pencils.
