I'm watching ArenaBowl XXI, but guess what, the state of Ohio is met with another bridesmaid finish. The Columbus Destroyers lose to the San Jose SaberCats, 55-34. San Jose QB Mark Grieb was named the game's MVP. Ohio is now 0 for 4, so far in title games this year. OSU Buckeyes football and basketball teams lost to both Florida Gators teams in those respective games. The Cleveland Cavaliers got swept by the San Antonio Spurs in 4 games, last month. Now, the Columbus Destroyers have come up, real short, against the SaberCats. Even though they fell to the Twins, 4-1, today, the Cleveland Indians are still only 1/2 game, behind the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central, right now. Perhaps the Indians will be back in the AL Central lead before too long. If the Indians win enough games to take the division, perhaps they can finally end the state of Ohio's bridesmaid finishes by getting to the World Series and winning it. Right now, and this especially applies to James, Cat and our moderator, Shark, the Indians are our state's best chance of finally winning a championship, provided Tribe manager Eric Wedge will keep them motivated. The Indians needs to use Ohio's disappointments in this year's sports title games as motivation, heading toward a possible World Series bid.

I was beyond shocked when we got Kenny Lofton back. I love Kenny! For his age (40), he's stayed in terrific shape and if he can help the team, I say good move. :D

I've rooted for the Indians since I was a kid and there were like 100 people at Cleveland Stadium. :lol:

Its nice to see them winning again, and not the team i remember in the 80s. Carmona and even Byrd has panned out well, but Westbrook and Lee and Sowers have not. They need another pitcher.
