Instrumental: the piece that was played on Wings the 1st couple seasons. They did away with it in place of showing the casts' names during the 1st scene instead. Then they brought it back for the series finale.

Vocal: I don't know why, I never liked this show, but I've always liked the theme to 'Green Acres'. And I can't help but sing along to 'The Jeffersons'!!

As for vocals, my favorite is B.J. Thomas and Dusy Springfield`s version of the Growing Pains theme song (played during seasons 2,3,5,7).

Jerry Goldsmith is my favorite film composer. Along with his work on the Star Trek movies and shows, he also composed great scores for such films as The Omen, The Sand Pebbles and Alien. His death was a geat loss for the movie world.

'cept, aside from the fact that Dawn Wells and Russell Johnson weren't in the first theme, I liked the sound of that version better.

Roseanne has honorable mention in my book in that it had both and I adore both of them.

I like All in the family, Seinfeld, Everybody loves Raymond, Young and the Restless(I know it's a soap), and Saved by the Bell. I like way too many, these are ones I can think of the top of my head.
