I just watched the rerun of this episode. I'm curious as to why the writers decided to bring the characters to such a repulsive level. Neither of the two main characters in this episode are funny on any level; they're just pathetic and petty self-centered clowns.

i agree. if I didn't already love the show, I would have gotten a really bad impression from that ep. But since I was a huge fan, I was just happy to have another KoQs ep.;)
