......When WGN is going to show Canada's sitcom "Corner Gas" , its supposed to start sometime in 2007 , have they begun to promote the show as of yet?

Going by Wikipedia (which is definitely not a reliable source, but all I could find), it's starting in September

Beginning September 17th, the schedule for CORNER GAS on Superstation WGN will be:

Wednesdays 8-8:30PM
Wednesdays 8:30-9PM
Mondays through Thursdays 12-12:30AM
Fridays 2:30AM
Sundays 11:30PM
and Sundays 12AM

I've seen promos for it already on WGN.

Unfortunately yes, I guess no one else wanted to syndicate the show in the USA......i imagine if its a hit, other stations will pick it up after WGN finishes the contract

WGN is a Superstation like TBS....check your cable provider, it might be available :)

Corner Gas has no laugh track but.......
The best thing is, without a laugh track, you dont have those phoney pauses while the actors wait for the audience to hush up...also means more time for dialogue, as I said, i make up my own laugh track ;)

Brent and Lacey about to taste Oscar's homemade beer:
Lacey: " I left Toronto to get AWAY from the polution!"
Brent: "Geez Dad, did you mix this in a Skidoo Boot, or a crow's nest?"
Dad: "You sissy, it's like a Belgian beer!"
Brent: "Honest to God Dad, it tastes like you beat a skunk to death with a salmon!"
OMG that line makes me laugh :lol: :lol:

( Brent's fantasy.....later, he forgets about Lacey and fantasises about eating the hotdog on his own! :lol: )
