i think we should have a separate thread or message board dedicated to topics related to current news events that we can post on this website and thus, it should be under the chit chat section alongside music, film, sport and games. what do you guys think?

News can be posted in "Chit Chat"; Current affairs usually go in the politics section Wai ( Where I can ignore it better ) :lol:

i have never posted anything on the politics section, and seeing as this is a US-based site, i presume it is all US related and so i'm not that familiar with american politics in contrast to the likes of you guys in the US

Your story of the neglectful parents can go in Chit Chat with regular news...current affairs would be strict political news such as " President Bush declares _______ Unamerican", which goes to the political boards...but, take my advice, stay away from them Wai ;)

Any story that has to do with politics should be posted in the Politic's forum. All other news stories are posted on regular Chit Chat.
