The recent triple homicide in Connecticut has some glaring similiarities to the UM final appeal of Dr. MacDonald. Although, both suspects have been captured. It is a bit strange that the Doctor escapes beaten up while his family dies. I guess history has a way of repeating itself. Not indicating that this was a planned conspiracy just eerie similarities to Macdonald.

I certainly understand why you might think that given the similarities but in my opinion the father was a victim as well. I heard on the news today that the girls died as a result of the fire and the mother was strangled which means that there was probably only one person dead when they initially fled. They did say the father was tied up with extensive head wounds and was able to free himself and stagger out of the house that was on fire. Still I will admit it was curious why they killed the mother and left the other 3 alive unless they thought they were all dead. Also the two suspects did have previous robberies so I tend to think they were on their own and the motive was financial gain. Only time will tell as I'm sure police will do a thorough investigation to see if this was a random act of violence or some type of conspiracy.
