Season 3 of Melrose Place has been announced for Nov. 13. As seasons 1 and 2 have been released on the same dates Seasons 1 and 2 of Beverly Hills 90210 was, maybe season 3 will come out this day as well.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the 3rd season news for Melrose. Hopefully we`ll hear some good info about the 3rd season of Beverly Hills sometime during the next few weeks....The 3rd season is one of the best, and I can't wait to watch those episodes again.

I'm glad the releases are still coming, but they need to speed it up a little. They should try to release a new season every 4 months, rather than every 6 months. 2 seasons a year is going to take 4 more years to finish off the series, whereas with 3 releases per year, the series will be done in a little over 2 years.

I'm so with you on this. I don't have the first two seasons because I wanted the first three or four at the same time, if that makes any sense. Once they release the third season, then I'll buy all three at the same time.

Were they able to keep the music intact? There were a few episodes that just wouldn't be the same without the original music. "Losing My Religion" and "You are the Everything" by REM immediately come to mind. (*and Lyle Lovett, when Dylan lost his wife, but that was much later).

That does make sense! I'm the same way with some shows, and 90210 is one of them....I hate to watch only the 1st season, and then have to wait months to watch the next season...I like when I have 2 or 3 seasons of a show, so I can watch a bunch of episodes, without taking too long of a break in between.

I have the first 2 seasons on DVD, but I haven't started watching them yet (because I've been waiting until the 3rd season comes out, so I can watch all the High School episodes together).

Sadly, I think a bunch of the music was changed....Even the REM songs.....

I'm hoping to record the show from TV one day (this way I have the original music).

Wikipedia is listing November 13 as the release date for season 3. We'll see.

I wouldn't really trust Wikipedia.

I don't fully either, but as Melrose Place is coming out that day, it's very possible that someone heard something. If it wasn't for Melrose coming out (they did release Melrose and BH the same day for the first two seasons) I wouldn't give it a second thought.
