We went to the Grand Canyon last year. And we went to the exact same spots as is shown here in those screen caps. The sight in person is just GORGEOUS AND PHENOMENAL. You can't put into words how to describe the feeling of seeing the Grand Canyon. It is surreal.

It is obvious those scenes where we have a view of the front side of Mike, Greg and Peter is fake (#9). There is a bush to the left of Peter that just doesn't exist in the real shots of the family from behind them.

Seeing the rain shots makes me laugh. When we went to the Grand Canyon, it was sunny and warm. Then, outta the blue monsoon rains came upon us. Hail, rain and thunder. It was really weird how one moment it was lovely and then the next, we ran to the nearest gift store for shelter.

LOL, sounds like Florida (where I live)...

I first saw the Grand Canyon during the summer back when I was 13...a couple of years after the Bradys were there...it was not sunny at all that day, very overcast, and a very light drizzle... never had any sunshine that day... saw it again a couple of years later, and it was a much nicer day.

And you're right...it's an incredible sight.

You're very welcome...

It'll probably be a couple of days before I get to part III, but I'll get those posted mostly likely by the end of this week

Yeah, thanks.

Was it as echoy when you were there? Like if you yelled like Mike and Carol, could you hear your own voices?

LOL, we didn't try it... of course, we weren't down at the bottom of the Canyon the way the Bradys were.

I seem to remember hearing (at least at that time) that in order to go down into the canyon, reservations had to be made way ahead of time... I don't know if that's still true, or if it ever was true. Our trip was planned two years ahead of time (to go out there the summer after my older brother graduated from high school), but there were never any plans on our part to go down into the Canyon.

But yeah, I'm sure a voice could echo like that if you yelled loudly enough.
