My friend insists that he saw a UM case where a boy went into a public restroom to pee at a urinal and while he was there, someone came up behind him and cut his throat. He said besides that, all he remembers is that the boy bled out on the bathroom floor before anyone checked on the situation. I have never seen this case, but my friend insists that it is from UM. Help please?

I don't recall such a segment. But I remember a case where a nine-year-old California boy named Matthew Cecchi had his throat slashed while he was in a public restroom. His killer, Brandon Wilson, is on death row for the murder. The murder occurred on November 14, 1998, and Wilson was caught soon afterwards.
That specific case was never on UM, because the crime and subsequent arrest both occurred while UM was on hiatus.

Here's the article at wiki. Brandon says he killed Matthew because "God told him to do it".
But I'm pretty sure that the last time God actually told anyone to murder somebody was when he told Abraham to kill Isaac. But God was just kidding and he didn't mean it. Isaac got to live and God stopped telling people to kill each other.
This Brandon guy is just trying to pin the whole thing on God, when actually, Brandon did not have an accomplice.

I remember this case as well - it was featured on Oprah but not UM. It could have been on other shows as well but I did see it on Oprah. The murdered boy's dad, who was divorced/separated from the mom blames the mom's family more than the murderer.
The accused murder, while being arraigned, just yelled out, "I did it! I killed that little boy."
