I have been reading some reviews of ABC's classic 1985-92 adventure series "MacGyver." I have been on the fence on whether to get it on disc because of several factors, namely:
1. Some people say that the first season's worth had very bad acting in it.
2. Others say that there are edited episodes with either the opening gambit or part of the opening titles missing.
3. Still others say that "MacGyver"'s DVD presentation (at least of the first season) leaves a lot to be desired, both visual and audio-wise.
4. At least one person who has reviewed several of the sets has a rental recommendation on all of them.
Do you agree with any or all of these factors? I'd like to get it on disc, but these factors that I mentioned are, like I said before, keeping me hung on the fence.
