While it wasn't easy dealing with those unnecessary bad skin or those pimples on national television....especially when they were in their 20s at least, which 80s teen actor started to develope acne at an earlier stage, but it disappeared as they got older.

For Scott Baio, it reappeared when he was in his 20s on Happy Days and the 1st Season of Charles In Charge. You could see the many oily pores and some acne on his skin as he was growing up in his 20s. But Season 2 of CIC, it disappeared.

Jason Bateman had freckles earlier at a young age in Silver Spoons, but the freckles appeared less and less as he grew older...

Earlier in Lisa Welchel's career on FOL, you could see she had a beauty mole at one time.

Mindy Cohn had pretty revealing freckles and some bad acne earlier in her career, but her skin got cleared up in the 1980 episodes of FOL.

Soleil Moon Frye had a missing tooth in the 3rd Season of Punky Brewster.

Name an 80s teen star that had signs of these conditions earlier or later in their career as they were growing up on national T.V. While I know it wasn't easy to be a perfect looking teenager with great skin, it was interesting to see as they were human as well.

Mackenzie Phillips from One Day At A Time. Absolutely the worst case I have seen. Although, with her drug problem, it is no wonder she had that happen to her face.

I think I even saw Bonnie Franklin have acne on one episode. Can anyone confirm?
