I do remember Tom Eplin on an episode, but I can't remember which one. Oh, he originated Jake on Another World years before the character went to ATWT when AW got cancelled. Sorry, I used to watch AW so I have to say something!!

He was in the episode where Blair is going out with several guys, trying to get over Cliff. She is out all night and he brings her back to the house and comes up to her room. He carries her up to her room! I think this is in season 5 or 6. It's when the girls are in college.
