for some reason my windows xp when I press ctrl alt delete...the normal window doesnt pop up

Ahhhh...that's the partial window. Is that how it shows up, or is the top of the dialog box missing? It sounds like there's something missing there. There should be some tabs at the top. If so, click on the "Applications" tab to see the list of your programs. Good luck.

You are missing the tabs at the top. This happened to me once. Try clicking on the top left corner edge of the window and pull it out.(I think that is how I did it):confused:

Double-click on any of the grey box surrounding the task list. That should return your full task manager.

Does anyone know how to remap CTRL-ALT-DEL??

I am on Win98se as you know and when I press CTRL-ALT-DEL it would be nice if it opened task manager! (Which I have in my briefcase)

Does anyone know how thats coded??
